Midterms

Well, it is that time of year: midterms. As I write this, I am looking forward to a midterm critique in my Digital Photography class this evening—I believe I have already uploaded all four of the images I shot for the midterm to the gallery.

In addition to midterms, the course guide for the spring semester has finally been posted online. I have been scouring the lists of classes for just the right mix to tackle in spring. So far, the following is looking like the best, tentative, schedule:

BIOL 101 Humankind in the Biological World
ACCT 201 Intro to Financial Accounting
ECON 200 The Economic Way of Thinking
WRIT 300 Advanced Expository Writing
CMAT 497 Advanced Print Design
CMAT 201 Communicating Effectively

After having taken nothing but 300- and 400-level courses this semester, I believe the 100- and 200-level courses will be a nice relief. I am still deciding whether or not I want to take eighteen credits; it would mean not being able to continue with my job at The U.B. Post, as it would put me over the credit allowance.

Aside from school, I have been attempting to get back into pixelling. Not having pixelled anything in over a year, I'm having a lot of fun experimenting with small, random icons:

I will keep messing around with simple icons for fun, so keep an eye on the pixel gallery in the coming weeks.
