Second Book: Nearing Completion
Monday, June 6, 2011 at 7:18PM I finished writing chapter thirty in the second book today. Four more chapters to go and the first draft will be officially finished. The first book only had thirty-one chapters, so this is already an improvement from the word count aspect. In addition to finishing the first draft, I will also be working on the fourth draft of the first book later this month after a much-needed break from writing for a week or two. After the fourth draft is completed, I will start querying agents.
I am looking forward to my meeting with my academic advisor. Most likely, it will be sometime next week. I want to talk to him and plan out what classes to take when to get the most bang for my buck.
I already talked to a friend of mine who attended the school, and she's given me some tips about campus life. She's also going to introduce me to some people she knows who still attend the school. I am really excited to get back into a real school atmosphere. Going to a fine arts college is not the same as an academic school, so I am anxious to see the differences.
